Little Sprouts: Valentine Birdfeeder
Saturday, February 13th at 11 a.m.

This Valentine Season, let’s give some love to our feathered friends as we welcome them back home from their winter vacations. In this month’s Little Sprouts, our young gardeners will be putting together Valentine birdfeeders to take home for our neighboring birds. Registration required. Call (541) 753-6601 to register. Rose Care -Selection, Pruning and Pest Management

With winter coming to an end soon, we need to prepare our dormant roses for the coming spring. This is also a fantastic time to prepare our landscape for new rose plants. In our Rose Care class, we will discuss how to care for new and dormant roses and how to prune them properly for lush and beautiful plants from spring to fall. We will also share different methods to manage those pesky pests that love to munch on our beautiful roses.

Little Sprouts: Leprechaun Garden

The leprechauns have invaded Garland Nursery looking for their pot of gold this St. Patrick’s Day season. Many have decided to stick around and are looking for a place to stay. Our little sprouts will be creating and taking with them, miniature garden homes for these jolly Irish gnomes.
