Celebrate Spring at Garland Nursery!
With flowers blooming and gardens starting to grow, it’s a beautiful time here in the Northwest! At this month’s Garden to Table, we are focused on starting some of our favorite summer produce: persimmons, grapes, tomatoes, and peppers. We will share how to prep, plant, harvest and bring this wonderful produce to your table. May cannot go by without a celebration of Mom! What mom doesn’t enjoy flowers or beautiful handmade gifts from her loved ones? Our Little Sprouts are putting those two things together and are potting beautiful flowers for Mom. On Mothers’ Day, we have a special event just for them. We are inviting all moms to join us for a special Mother’s Day Tea and Planting Party. Learn tips and tricks to picking the best complimentary plants, pick your favorites from our garden center, and then sit back and enjoy tea and treats as the professionals plant them up for you. All Eden Valley Potting Soil that we will be using has been generously donated by Jerry Gross and Kellogg Garden Supplies. We are excited to have Richard Erickson from Horizon Distribution joining us again for soil testing and garden tool sharpening. Join us this May as we enjoy all that is blooming this spring and celebrate Mom!
