David Austin roses update
Garland Nursery received a notice from David Austin. Part of that notice: “Our wholesale business is being re-structured to cope with both the limited supply we currently face and our aim to provide the very best service to all our customers. This restructure is as a result of the impact that coronavirus has had on both our business and on customer buying habits.” They will be supplying mainly their Approved Grower network and a small number of wholesale customers. Unfortunately, Garland Nursery will not receive any bareroot David Austin roses in 2021 and most likely.
Currently, we have an order in for 4 varieties of container grown David Austin roses set to arrive in May. The varieties are:
Darcy Bussell
Tess of d’Ubervilles
The Lady Gardener
Tranquility
In addition, we have added more varieties in the style of English roses to our orders from Star and Weeks Roses.
